Husker's Hope Dachshund Rescue is a Public Benefit Corporation, organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, more specifically to rescue, rehabilitate and place displaced dachshunds from shelters, puppy mills and other sources into temporary foster homes, with the ultimate end of being adopted; And, provide educational tools to the public regarding the benefits of spay/neuter, health care, nutrition and behavioral needs of dachshund and animals, in general, via web site, public events and training.

Husker's Hope Dachshund Rescue shall at all times be operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning os Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal revenue Code of 1986, and the Nebraska Statue 21-1921, now enacted or hereafter amended, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code of 1986, and the nebraska statue 21-1921, as no enacted or hereafter amended. All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift of contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.
